I read yr dentist list of fears and they were all otm and the I read yr dentist results and was v encouraged and I feel guilty for making thread an output when it is clearly for input but <3 anyway

this thread is really for the encouragement of all because if i can be encouraged anyone can. i am not that easy to encourage.

i have been having a hard time lately. too much work, not enough exercise or fun. i had 4 jury trials in 2014. yesterday i started my first of 2015. tuesday i start my second. i loved my client in this one so much and if i lost he would have gone to jail for 5 years w/ no parole because he did something stupid. we won all but one of the counts, which was one i conceded anyway. i was really stressed and not sleeping over this one. phew.

i feel very relieved because i was going to have to work all weekend on this murder but it got postponed so i don't have to work at all and i have no court ALL week! but of course i have a bad cold probably from working too much :(

i got new glasses. they are really crazy. i was worried they are a little too crazy for a boring lawyer who never does anything. but i love them!

it's pretty fun. i'm hoping work never opens again. i don't want it to stop.

i am a little jealous tbh. i missed snowmageddon 2010 by 2 months and now this comes the winter after i leave!

yeah that was like this x 2. i stayed in bed for like 6 days then walked to safeway and it was post-apocalyptic. may have broken all-time record at bwi today!

i'm so tired of being inside now! might walk to get breakfast but the place opens at 10. so much lounging.

me and 4 other people did such a great job digging out our cars--NO snow under or around cars at all--that i keep looking out the window at it with pride. when i started it seemed impossible. but i gotta go to work tomorrow and i'm ashamed to leave chairs in my spot. it has to be done, though.

has to. it's so not fair for someone to come along and park when you've put all the work in!

i came home early and it was pretty much open so i left some big planters there while i went to the gym. two assholes who live down the street (to be fair: not plowed) parked in two of the spots my neighbor and her son dug out. fortunately her gf and son left with those cars but still. driving is horrible right now. massive snow banks everywhere, people walking in the street, lanes just disappearing while you drive. everyone being a typical aggressive baltimore driver all the while. sux!

The ~controversial~ subject of reserving parking spaces you've dug out sparked some intense discussion on my old neighborhood's facebook group (I can't quit it! It brings the lols).

see also: people losing it over the fact that the entire neighborhood hadn't been fully plowed by sunday afternoon.

ever since those prisoners escaped from far upstate ny last year i have daydreamed about moving up there and just being a woodswoman
