I don't know what it is about that train-choking pic, but I never realized until now how much Chicago Kevin vaguely resembles Paul Westerberg.

from a facebook msg:

This was an actual question that a journalist friend of mine got a friend of his to ask Mel C:

"If you were in a room and no one was looking, and there'd be no way of anyone finding out, how much money would it take to make you hit a panda in the face with a brick?"

guys, answers plz.

gin and sonic (Allyzay Eisenschefter), Wednesday, 28 March 2007 16:05 (seventeen years ago) link

ok, i have a lot to do tonight and i want to get some sleep so i think i'm going to have reach far back into my bag of tricks and dust off "the schlitzkrieg", wherein i maximize my beer intake while minimizing the amount of time spent drinking beer. it's as fast and as destructive as it's namesake.

midwest tet (chicago kevin), Wednesday, 28 March 2007 16:06 (seventeen years ago) link

my answer, gratis if the panda is a dick.

otherwise probably about $50?

gin and sonic (Allyzay Eisenschefter), Wednesday, 28 March 2007 16:21 (seventeen years ago) link

pitchfork column blurb:

The Soundtrack of Our Lives
Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 classic Rear Window is rightly considered a deft commentary on our voyeuristic society, but it also predicts the increasingly incidental associations we've had with music in the past half-century.
