God, what a tool. I feel bad for the wife and kid, esp. since he seems so clueless about what a tool he is.

If there's anything that fascinates me as much as trolls, it's people who are so clueless about how they come across. Back in '92 or so I was in an APA with a guy who was such a cunt to his wife that she drove to one of the Bay Area bridges, got out of her car and made the big jump. And he was all "I hope I find someone else soon, my kids are a double handful to have to deal with by myself."

APA = Amateur Press Association This one in particular was for comic book fans, a social-skills-challenged bunch to begin with, even the ones who don't drive their wives to suicide.

My old bellsouth email address doesn't exist anymore -- makes a great spam filter...

can we get this guy blocked from the DNS servers or something?

friday on the porch (lfam), Friday, 29 December 2006 01:44 (seventeen years ago) link

Have I missed him posting again? He's been IP banned for a couple of weeks at least.

Anyway, it looks like he's found an audience as moronic as he is worthy of his attentions at last:

I was going to ask whether or not there's anything sadder than a troll so deprived of oxygen that he has to email posters offboard in order to carry on, but resorting to TROLLING THE NME FORUMS is possibly it.

Mike Dixn (Mike Dixon), Friday, 29 December 2006 16:48 (seventeen years ago) link

If I went to all those boards and posted his home address and phone number, would that make me a bad person?

Joe Isuzu's Petals (Rock Hardy), Friday, 29 December 2006 17:08 (seventeen years ago) link

'bad' is so subjective

Comrades, meet Tildo Durd (Scourage), Friday, 29 December 2006 17:10 (seventeen years ago) link

What a weird, weird dude he is.

Norman Phay (Pashmina), Friday, 29 December 2006 17:50 (seventeen years ago) link

I think that straightdope board where he talks about his miserable marriage is the keyhole into his head.

Joe Isuzu's Petals (Rock Hardy), Friday, 29 December 2006 18:03 (seventeen years ago) link

He could just be the best gimmick poster in the history of the internet, you know? He's probably really a 17 year old AZN kid from Dartmouth.
