my department launched a twitter account yesterday. it's not linked on our website yet, but we announced its existence to about 600 new students as a ps in an email telling them about other (more pressing) stuff.

this morning we have two followers:

someone's mom, who follows us and steve martin; she's never tweeted.

and

some blogger dude who lives in austin and follows a buncha bunch of accounts including

our own max read.
