I hope the buses are running - I haven't seen or heard a 60 or 131 for 2 days!

we walked over to 4th & it looks pretty good. even saw a bus! should be fine, a straight shot to tukwila.

in other news, uw's emergency blog must be inundated with people trying to find out about tomorrow; can't get the page to load! i wanna know!!

i'm happy it's too snowy for work.

yes, it's getting kinda silly now, third day off, and monday was the MLK holiday. good, though, because it's mean out! still super icey, but also kinda melty, so big hunks are falling out of trees. a branch came off the neighbor's tree itno our yard last night. i'm a bit worried for the trees and the things under them. be safe, trees & people!

jergins' 9 am flight was cancelled and he was rebooked for noon. good wishes for people flying over snow and ice.

fingers x'd for flyers! I don't even want to think about driving, so told the people who want this meeting I can't get there and we can meet on the internet b/c we live in the FUTURE!

They got into the office yesterday afternoon apparently, brave souls! They are leaving tomorrow I think.

Though I wish they'd stay so I could work with them a little before they go! They're super to work with.

won't they be glad to go home!

Too right, especially after this week of weather! We probably won't see them here again until summer.

made it to the office - the side streets are too rotten still, but the main roads are more soupy than slick.

it snowed and iced here just in time for it not to be a work day anyway. i am angry!

lady i am really pissed off on your behalf. it's outrageous!

so windy. so so windy.

by the time i went to bed on thursday, there had been 4.5 inches of snow, 1/2 inch of graupel, then another 1.5 inches of snow. a branch fell off a tree in my yard, which knocked a lilac tree over. crazy few days.

we lost at pub quiz last night :( BUT! we agreed to try again next week.

i keep having dreams/daydreams about seattle but also thinking on the drive to work (out of city) "i love baltimore so much"

you guys just seemed to have such amazing grocery shopping and trees and food

come back soon, we have lots more grocery shopping to show you. had we known, we could've spent your entire visit going from market to market. there are many amazing ones you didn't see!
