walking and eating

I did this in Japan once and was later told that it was considered to be in very bad taste. Nobody called me out on it at the time though.

That's because calling people on bad taste in Japan is considered to be bad taste.

i once ate porridge out of tupperware walking to a talk i was late for

i can't walk and eat cuz it takes all the enjoyment of the meal out cuz i have to concentrate to avoid choking

almost as barbaric as playing w/ yr fucking electronics while blocking the sidewalk

i p much resent any situation that makes me so hurried that i'm required to eat and walk at the same time, so "other"
being in that much of a hurry is to be avoided at all costs

It's certainly the non-optimal approach, but I'll do it without compunction on the rare occasion when called for.

xp Yes, last time I regularly had to eat and walk was while I was working as a field service tech. I never got a lunch break, and had to eat sandwiches/etc. while travelling between offices. Possibly I resent eating and walking so much as a result.

Terrible idea.... if it's something an Aaron Sorkin character does regularly it's got to be deadly for a real person.
