My buddy is flying back from Scotland today and it's the first and probably only year we'll be in the same place on NYE so we planned to 'do something' for once, and got tickets in advance for some club in town etc and NOW he thinks he's too knackered and 'might bail' so it'll just be me & my o/h and our other friend who I've seen too much of recently and I am kind of mad and kind of planning on selling the tickets for profit and staying home as we would've done anyway but then this leaves the other dude in the lurch so UGH. Alcohol is making me feel like crap recently too so I can't even fall back on getting trashed.

Hm, those tickets wouldn't be to Dig Deeper, by any chance, would they? Because I need one of those myself.

yeah bonghits smooth out a lot of rough spots - I am fortunate to have in-laws who like to party (but not coke-fiend/meth-freak party)

Bought some cheap bubbly and some 99 Apples and 99 Cherries (airplane-size bottles at a dollar each-enough for two shots a bottle). Defrosted some shrimp and put some baby carrots that we had in a bowl with dip. Total cost: $9.00, which is more than we really can afford, but whatever. However, any good mood that we could have had was ruined by my brother-in-law calling us and raining down insults during the entire call.

xp We've got a little pot left too, thank God.
