I just realized that I have absolutely no interest in large festivals like Lollapalooza anymore, if I ever did. Not only do they cost over $100, there's like a million bands that play them, and I dunno, I like treating live performances as something special, not as commodities to be chosen at random while wolfing down a corn dog and running from one side of the park to the other. It's just too overwhelming. I'll still go to Pitchfork Fest, though, where there's usually only one band playing at any given time (except for the DJ tent).

And the party that "we" were throwing was the infamous birthday party at Robin's place that involved me stumbling down to Jeff and Jenny's place with my pants around my ankles and Kenan falling down and hitting his head on the curb outside T's.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. You took your pants down AFTER you came to our house and then slept in our hallway, on the bare floor, with your pants around you ankles. And Kenan fell and cracked his egg outside of Clark's on Clark. And in various and sundry flower beds on the way to Clark's on Clark.

This is also the party of the famous "homeboy" incident, which did at least cure me of calling everybody whose name I couldn't remember "homeboy."

I bought records tonight, and even listened to them. Four Tet is pretty ridiculous, I don't know why I never really paid attention to him before. Of Montreal is pretty good but I don't think I like anything as much as that tune I heard on the radio (track 5).

No. My pants were off on the way. I distinctly remember this.

I also remember Kenan hitting his head outside of an establishment on a southeast corner of Clark. It was very close to Clark's on Clark. It might not have been T's, I'll grant you. But it was probably SoFo or Banana Video or whatever's there.

I live on N. GAYsted, a few blocks from Wrigley. I moved here a few months ago, but just started posting.

It's just a really old building with shite insulation, and the snow was so heavy that when I woke up, freezing under three blankets, I found a nice half inch of snow on my bookshelf
