And merry merry to all. Lovely Carmel morning here and the presents were gone through with gusto -- we all made some fun scores and as always the feeling is the best part of all, snug and cool. Plenty of phone chat going on with relatives and others and all's well; hope everyone is having an equally good day if you celebrate.

The tiny, comma-shaped Armenian old lady neighbors just brought over a huge pan of cheese borag and said they hoped we enjoyed "our Christmas". Barely any condescension over our barbaric ignorance of the Orthodox calendar, not to mention extra week for shopping.
