It's a great record, I kinda slept on it until I saw Star Slinger doing his thing live and it was mindblowing, the way his beats seemed to fold in and explode on themselves.

No problem, didn't take it that way! I felt disappointed with myself for I hate others for not looking if something hadn't been nommed yet. But with this one I though "surely not"... And I'm very pleased I was wrong :)

I'd also strongly rep for the Unknown Mortal Orchestra album, which was slow to flower on me, but really emerged as one of the more unusual and beautiful albums of the year.
