Serendipity was watchable for Cusack and Piven and whathisname dude that played the store clerk guy. The whole premise that dull old Kate Beckinsale is worth all that shit is kinda wrong though.

(Serendipity 2: where they find out that their idealised future - based on seven years of building up and romanticising a couple of hours that they can barely remember - is total bullshit, now *that* I would watch)

We watched about twenty minutes of Serendipity and would have watched more if it had been a film about Kate Beckinsale being charmed away from John Cusack by LARS and HIS MAGIC FLUTE, and John Cusack not being able to understand it and running around going "can no-one else see how wrong this is????"

But it wasn't, so we turned it off and went to bed.
