Lol at the media falling over themselves to say the loss wasn't all Tebow's fault. They didn't mind giving him the majority of the credit for things his team did when they were winning, but when they lose its a "team loss"

whose fault was the 28-yard sack
― OH NOES, Monday, 19 December 2011 15:41 (twelve years ago) link
obv i dont intend to talk up the pats defense because it blows but they went back to the 3-4 and changed their spacing after the first quarter and i think the broncos had 175 total yards in quarters 2-4. it was a good adjustment and there were some good individual performances.

kinda glad a i watched the game in a poolhall w/the christmas soul satellite radio station playing instead of the tv audio tbh

it's 100% tebow's fault that brady prayed harder than him
― iatee, Monday, 19 December 2011 15:42 (twelve years ago) link
also i had the revelation in this game that a lot of denvers success on offense is based on broken pass plays where tebow extends the play and improvises. his in-game instincts are pretty excellent.

best part of this was when he was only back like 15 yards he spun to his right considered throwing and then remembered he was incapable of throwing when spinning to his right and decided to lose another ten yards

prob worth mentioning that despite anderson looking pretty good subbing in, andre carter likely out for the season makes the ne defense even more exciting

yeah outside of the whole "how do these miracles keep happening" angle I think there is a good argument to be made that Tebow is much better all-around now than he was 6 weeks ago. as bad of a passer as he is I think Denver's wideouts probably make him look worse than he actually is

― cad, Monday, 19 December 2011 16:11 (twelve years ago) link
i mean its pretty hard to say if he's actually better--to me it seems he continues to do a few things pretty well. he generally makes good reads on the option, he's an amazing runner, and he can hit dudes downfield when coverage breaks down.
― cad, Monday, 19 December 2011 16:12 (twelve years ago) link
tebow had no control those first few games. no one could've caught his wayward passes. but i gotta say he does seem to be coming along pretty quickly
― horseshoe loves tom brady, Monday, 19 December 2011 16:12 (twelve years ago) link
theres srsly nothing a receiver can do to make a wobbly ass pass that misses by ten yards any worse

you can probably only see it if you are a true believer, but on the left side of this picture of tebow, you can just make out jesus, dressed in white.

you guys:
Shockey: Texans disrespected America during national anthem
“I was pretty upset when they weren’t showing respect to America during the national anthem,” Shockey said, via the Houston Chronicle. “There were about 10 players who didn’t put their arms across their chest. This is America. They should at least give respect to America. I haven’t seen it anywhere else in the NFL, but I don’t know how you forget to do something like that.”

by some measures he is but he does a lot more for the team than many QBs do and I'd argue that there have definitely been a few worse QBs that have started the past couple of weeks. QB's like Cam, Vick, Young etc. have never really had to complete a high % to be successful (granted, they need to do more than what Tebow is doing now)
i mean we talk about him because he's the biggest story in football right now, if you don't like it you don't have to discuss it
― ...or fold laundry? (J0n Arbuckle), Monday, 19 December 2011 16:50 (twelve years ago) link

No fxxxing way Tebow is the worst QB in the league. Tebow's completion percentage is bad, but all you have to do is look at the last month performance of Caleb Haney to start. That's dude has thrown more TDs to D-lineman than his own team in the past month.
― earlnash, Monday, 19 December 2011 23:23 (twelve years ago) link
Caleb's only a starter by proxy tho due to injury, Tebow was like NAMED the starter....
