"dating" can be fun as long as you don't take it seriously or expect to meet the love of your life. people are disappointing and stupid, but occasionally they're cute. it's not so horrific to go out and have a few beerz with someone attractive and maybe make out with them. but if you treat it as a big existential thing you'll end up wanting to slit your wrists.
