I loled when I saw it IRL, but the DVD is a bit slow tbh. The first half of the show is better, yes. The best bits of the (tv and radio) show is when they're just sat on a bench/in a car/on a carpet chatting stoned bollox at each other, all that's classic. When they start having plots and characters and things, that's when it all goes wrong. For instance, Old Greig<<<<<<<<<<<<<<"top shop!"

What surprised me abnout it was how unrehearsed it looked, which is a bit odd coming at the end of a massive long tour. The timing was really bad, or non-existant. And so on and so on. I didn't watch the second disc.

I did, however, sell it for a small profit, thanks to Monsieur Le Fopp's £6 offer.

Actually, I have just remembered the one thing I laughed at out loud - Bob Fossil spitting on a jazz LP belonging to Howard Moon.

The ramshackle quality to it is sort of it's charm. It would lose something if it was all slick.

I don't think I saw any of the TV shows. (Something about being lost in a 'jungle' i.e a densely grassed tropical house of a zoo, I vaguely remember), it was a christmas prezzie as we enjoyed Noel Fielding's guest spots on various TV shows..

"Secret Policeman's Ball" was the first time I'd ever seen these (ditto Al Murray). Surely they're better than that?

... though Al Murray isn't
