the lakers have bigs, they're just not very good or very inexperienced

yeah kwame averaged short of 8pts and 7reb, half a block and 2 and a half fouls last year and that was a CAREER RESURGENCE

he's also a bummer and has the worst hands in the nba i've ever seen, if i were a gm i'd take a flyer on three bigs from the d-league and assume i can patch together 15 minutes of kwame-esque play for probably 1/10th of the price

or just go small if im lacking a real center, so are 15 or 20 other teams

Kwame has better hands than Dampier or Adonal Foyle. Granted, that's not saying much, but he is far from the biggest stiff to have a long and monetarily rewarding career.
