v/a - Razormaid Chapter 9: the Dub Mix (80s double lp of disco re-edits. has Yoko Ono's 'walking on thin ice' even though it's supposed to have a nina hagen song and has a crazy rocking disco song by elton john. it's on white vinyl which is really stupid because you can't see the lines between the songs)

indian jewelry was kinda nuts live ... totally black stage with heavy strobes and fog. and texas flags draped down from their several tables of electronix.

it devolved into drawn-out noise noodling later in the set but their first few songs were mesmerizing.

Man, the two new volumes of Messthetics (101 and 102) are REALLY GOOD. I thought the original series had a lot of great tracks but was still spotty on the whole but these are great. Booklets with pictures and info on all artists, too.
