i feel like most of my favorite albums or whatever this year are pretty boring choices, things i see lots of other people liking, but maybe i can think of a few underrated albums or songs

where should we gather these things? should we do only new or also new-to-you?

i'll try to stick to released in 2011 unless someone tells me otherwise (afaic this includes comps of previously unavailable material and/or available only in difficult to collect formats -- like the mark mcguire comp and my old friends at soundway)

i personally am focusing on the maybe less-heard, more underrated songs i liked (so i look cooler) but you should do what you want
