though he seems to especially enjoy criticizing belichick coaching decisions and arguing against defensive penalties for roughing brady

You guys can you imagine the riots at this point if they're like "Nah fuck it RG3 is our guy"?

iatee, Monday, 12 December 2011 00:42 (twelve years ago) link

I think even people who hate tim tebow have a really good reason to root for him at this point

iatee, Monday, 12 December 2011 00:43 (twelve years ago) link

I just want more Lions games in between the Tebowmania. Like every 3rd or 4th game just have him go like 4-25 and get sacked a million times and lose by 30. I feel like Tebow is basically that (a dude whose uniqueness will pull some games out of his ass but also will lead him to be terrible for stretches) and so basically I want his record to reflect that.

Pats game is pretty interesting since their defense is turrrrrible, but their offense will probably score a bunch and I don't know how the Broncos offense can deal with a shootout.

C-L, Monday, 12 December 2011 00:49 (twelve years ago) link

I meant because getting denver locked in tebow as a starter for 3 years or something would be pretty amazing lols, not because I want him to have any success as a human being

xp

iatee, Monday, 12 December 2011 00:51 (twelve years ago) link

I really want to see Broncos play one of the AFC North murder defense teams, though. Jesus loves Troy Polamalu basically as much as he loves Tim Tebow so I think he'll lose his primary advantage there.

xp yeah the odds of Tebow being Kordell Stewart seem very possible now

i'm jewish and i'm not afraid to admit that tim tebow's amazing success is persuading me to convert to christianity.

Daniel, Esq., Monday, 12 December 2011 00:52 (twelve years ago) link

That's all Tim Tebow asks of you, Daniel.

Phil 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me; also it helps if the secondary keeps playing off the receivers when I need to drive the ball down the field"

C-L, Monday, 12 December 2011 00:53 (twelve years ago) link

tebow is adorable and i am totally rooting for him, just not next week

daria, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:03 (twelve years ago) link

The more wins Denver gets, the less likely they will be able to draft a gamechanging QB in the draft lower in Round 1, so might as well add talent elsewhere and give him a second year. Maybe draft a QB in round 2 or 3.

polyphonic, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:10 (twelve years ago) link

there are a lot of good qbs this year so they possibly could get one late

iatee, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:12 (twelve years ago) link

that game was so fun. matt prater!

horseshoe, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:15 (twelve years ago) link

guys i feel a little bad for marion barber but also looooooool @ him

horseshoe, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:15 (twelve years ago) link

My thought was that Luck, Griffin, Barkley, and Jones were the guys with first round grades, and that at least three of them would be gone by the time Denver drafts. Of course they could move up but there are a lot of teams who might want a QB (Indy, Miami, Washington, Cleveland, Buffalo, Seattle) who will draft before the Broncos do.

omg terence newman

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:38 (twelve years ago) link

yeah it's gonna be tough for denver to get a top flight qb this year anyway

the fun part about rooting for tebow right now is that it's going to come crashing down at some point inevitably. this is not like if cam newton was a gross christian

v-shasty, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:38 (twelve years ago) link

i'm sure i'm the only one interested in this, but there are three USF bulls starting on defense for these two teams tonight

v-shasty, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:39 (twelve years ago) link

xp yeah I think as long as he continues to play horribly and win there's nothing to worry about

iatee, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:40 (twelve years ago) link

horseshoe, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:49 (twelve years ago) link

given how rare it is that someone gets a safety i wonder why it's only 2 points. shouldn't it be more?

daria, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:50 (twelve years ago) link

5-0 SMH i thought this was a football game

it's 2 points and the ball, remember. For some teams that's like 6 points.

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:53 (twelve years ago) link

what is this team doing

v-shasty, Monday, 12 December 2011 01:57 (twelve years ago) link

Yeah but we are just setting up for a late-game Tebow-style improbable comeback.

C-L, Monday, 12 December 2011 02:23 (twelve years ago) link

Bob Costas is gonna talk about the Tebow Phenomenon at halftime, you guys.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN TIM TEBOW SUCCEEDS
