yeah it seems to be the case. i mean, i don't want more interesting work, i'm happy with what i'm doing theoretically, i just want to get paid for it. i'll gladly take on their stupid psuedo promotion as well, but not if they're going to keep paying me sub-par wages compared to other people here, and if they're not going to commission me on the shit i'm doing. :(

ally, exactly, they should compensate you accordingly if they're going to make you take on supervisory role! you shouldn't have to be fighting with hr just to get a paycheck, wtf.

my thought is, first thing that needs to happen is the employer actually starts keeping some of their promises.

i'm kind of struggling with this myself, it's like, we are short staffed and i've had to take on more work & more difficult than my job description really says but it's university grade-level pay scale, there's no freedom to give anyone a raise until yearly review time.

maybe you should just explain to bossface that if he wants you to do more shit the best way to go about it would be for you to quit right now and then come in tomorrow or sometime next week for a job interview with him for the open supervisory sales position at which time if he so desires he can make an offer of compensation appropriate to your role and responsibilities.

show me the fucking money should really not be such a hard concept for businesspeople to get their head around.

That is a tough question, because there is no good systematic approach to the genus at present. Generally, it is assumed that the species from a geographical area are more closely related to each other than to other lineages, but this is not necessarily correct. For example, while the Carrion/Collared/House Crow complex is certainly closely related to each other, the situation is not at all clear regarding the Australian/Melanesian species.
The Neogene fossil record of crows is rather dense in Europe, but the relationships among most prehistoric species is not clear. Jackdaw-, crow- and raven-sized forms seem to have existed since long ago and crows were regularly hunted by humans up to the Iron Age, documenting the evolution of the modern taxa. American crows are not as well-documented.

what a pain. maybe it's a matter of.. if they really had an incentive to make something happen & fight the bureaucracy, they could, but they're hoping they'll be able to get you to do more work for the same pay because it's too hard for them to fight bureacracy, amirite?

ok it is showing at gallery place and in georgetown, which would be preferable do you think? gallery place is more convenient ie there is a metro there but georgetown is nowhere near the mci center.
