I don't know! I don't have frames or a press or anything and there aren't any spaces or furniture included, so the most I could do is stamp with them...? Prob only good for posters or signs. What would you do?

maybe stamp and cut out paper to make stencils, or use them as bookends or paperweights, or string them up as a luddite's version of poetry magnets, or maybe stamp nonsense directly onto t-shirts. something like that

This is wood, not lead, no good for paperweights or bookends. Stencils not a bad idea but I think I really really like it as a curiosity...Kind of don't ever want to clean off the old ink and dust.

it's weird because i was in a store the other day and started thinking about stamps and how i would like to make them (but not out of potatoes. out of wood or rubber or ?) yours are historical though! (and are not stamps, i know.)

1008?haha: was fed a lot of awesome food tonight at friend's house: date-stuffed pork tenderloin with apricot sauce! salad with lettuce, oranges and pomegranate! endives with smoked salmon mousse! almond-caramelized-onion pastry/bread! sundried-tomato risotto! and homemade cream puffs with chocolate sauce!

i love it when my ambivalence-rut towards food is totally shaken - btwn this and nyc, i'm excited about food again. food is GREAT! what was i even thinking? and how amazing is risotto?! you can put anything in it!

1012. i keep getting presents in the mail! yesterday got: card + sparkly earrings; card + book (about 'intuition'/honing psychic abilities, which, of course, i'm all into). today got: giant hueg academic/coffeetable(?) book on Aesthetic Surgery (sent by ex-bf who works in publishing yaay), full of awesome essays, interviews with surgeons, stuff about techniques, etc etc - comes at good time, needing academic inspiration/entertainment

I'm just glad my travel day ended all right, because it began awfully. Stayed with sister, who didn't set alarm/wake up this AM. My phone finally rang this morning at the exact time I was supposed to be AT the airport. Luckily for me my first plane was delayed ( tho :/ for everyone else).

yeah thanksgiving i woke up at 7 am for a 9:30 flight and had planned on being cheap and taking train but had to call a car or i wouldn't have made it... then it was delayed. oy!

when i got my flight switched the other night i actually got in 45 min earlier than i would have originally! it was totally grebt!
