WINTER LAGER (this one is the best all time #1 bro)
CRANBERRY LAMBIC (strangely too sweet--I think the base beer just isn't heavy enough for the cranberry in this case. It was no Lindemann's)
HOLIDAY PORTER (was really already drunk when had this, should try again)

MUST TRY NEXT: OLD FEZZIWIG ALE no idea what this name is about but label features crazy fuckin leprechauny thing and a lady and it's called SAM ADAMS OLD FEZZIWIG, website describes it as "cookies of beer" which makes no sense.

tour update

6am

sitting in Centralterminalen bus station in Stockholm

first show was amazing
at 4:15am the crew of Swedish Idol showed up for an afterparty (we had seen their tent set up earlier in another part of town) and the host, their Ryan Seacrest, took a micophone and started MCing over our set. That was strange.

The booking agent for the club was phenomenally friendly - when I showed an interest in traditional swedish food he brought us cookies and was running around town trying to find us a traditional St. Lucia candy made w/ saffron.

Also, I had a shot of whiskey, a whiskey sour, a glass of champagne, and about 18 beers. Sweeet. I will not be sober by the time I go through airport security.

Had four different kinds of the most amazing herring - the clove and orange cured one was particularly exceptional.

p.s. - the girls are totally that hot.
p.p.s. - even though the internets had translated the room we were playing in as "vital babies", it turned out to mean "white room". Big time letdown.
