Just the other day one of our students said, amazed, "You like 'Super Bass' and not Drake?"

Was the angle Drake-love or pop-hate?

really "Firework" is the only one I find unbearable; the one that gets consistently underrated is "Grenade"

"If you like that thing, then there's no reason why you can't love Drake too."

Super Bass is far and away the best thing on that Billboard list.

"Super Bass" suffers a little from the start-stops and the bridge is somewhat disconnected from the rest of the song

only one that comes close is "give me everything"

is it wrong that I look at that Billboard list and think to myself "LOL @ Blake Shelton"?

I don't mind "Give Me Everything" now, thanks to our Clear Channel station playing it every 14 seconds.

Although I tend to think of Super Bass as an end-credits mallpop song rather than a rap record.

"Super Bass" is prob. best on that list, though my weakness for disco-pop means I also like "Rolling in the Deep" and "Moves Like Jagger."

"super bass" is the best big pop single of the year - everyone still goes crazy when it comes on at parties/clubs/any public space. could've been "countdown" though if beyoncé had given it a proper push. ;_;

That Pinch & Shackleton album hasn't made a lot of lists cos it's only come out in the last couple of weeks, but it's a really great album imo
