HEROES OF THE GALLEON TRADE - "NEPTUNE'S LAST STAND"

Wo Fat - Noche Del Chupacabra

Ancestors - Epilogue

Sungrazer - Behind

Witch Mountain - Hare's Stare

Arenna - Eclipse

Pantheist - Be Here

40 Watt Sun - Open My Eyes

Blood Ceremony - Daughter Of The Sun

Tyler - if you only check out one of those check out Ancestors. I think it's right up your Floyd-loving alley.

digging the ancestors thing, yeah, pretty floyd-y. is this how the rest of their stuff is?

This EP is. Going backwards into their catalog they get heavier and more stoner/doom metal. The last full-length record, Of Sound Mind, is one of the best hard rock records of 1972 recorded in 2009.

That Josh T. Pearson album has 5 or 6 of these if you're into his stuff.

Wolves In The Throne Room, "Woodland Cathedral" and prob some other on that album--not real into long slow no mo' (new Kate Bush makes me so sleepy but won't let me sleep), but Wolves are so intense in the density, keep flashing back to that doc about Christo's Running Fence--translucent osmosis in the redwood forest

The Three Lobed box set "Not the Spaces you know, but between them" is chock full of epic jams. My favorites are Sonic Youth's "In & Out," "Out & In" and the Steve Gunn side (whose title I can't recall at the moment)

i am getting this thread wrong but there is nowhere else for it: this is coming out next year, i can imagine it maybe having an epic 2012 jam on it, i wonder how they will have changed
