I'm just not sure what's so unique about Meek Mill's flow? (Which isn't to say I don't like the guy.)

i wouldn't say it's unique, he just brings this very urgent energy to his rapping and is convincing about it

exactly. he def has a peedi influence but i think that's more of a general philly sound than it is about him biting peedi

would someone disagree if i said he's like a midpt between peedi & freeway?

there are some serious rhythmic issues & they had to slow gucci down to the point where he sounds heavily sedated

it's been very slowly climbing up the r&b chart here for the last 3 months (and dropped a few spots from its peak this week) but yeah it definitely does feel potentially huge. it's weird to think roscoe's had hooks & verses on two of the biggest rap songs of the last year or two but i still kinda waiting for a solo track to pop off like that.
