my cat just shreiks and cries the whole way on car rides, it doesn't stop, just terrible for everyone in the car. don't know what i'll do if i ever have to move somewhere more than 20 minutes away, poor girl's the most nervous kitty i've ever known.

Anyway, when we moved from NC to Chicago, I drove the car with the three cats in the back seat, each in their own carrier. We had downers to give them for the ride, but we lost them so they had to take the trip unmedicated. It was like if the Flaming Lips did the boom box experiment but with tapes at various states of decay of cats meowing Jingle Bells. And you were on mescaline.

yeah...and you're not allowed to use sedatives on cats if you fly with them, with the idea that if something goes wrong, you aren't in a position to do anything about it. my cat has had to fly twice in his life, and he was horrified even before we finally arrived at the airport. poor baby.

Thanks! I love her, too. She was sitting on my lap the other day and her back paws were kind of tucked between my legs and she looked like a furry schmoo.

i look at my cat sometimes and i'm like why do i have such a good-looking cat and i'm sure mookie does the same

my parents got two new cats (stitches and tig) but they cannot compare to horatio.
