Eh there kind of all the same to me, 3-5 good tracks and the rest all lexlugerysamey. Probably could make a killer 10 song mix of his 2011 stuff though.

Yeah, I think the last few tracks on Blue Dream & Lean are especially strong, though ("I Don't Play With Guns" through "Flood Out the Club").

Whiney argued to me that Meek Mill is 'boring' which I think is totally wrong, so as an argument, I'd like to link to a promising rapper from Detroit named Fowl (he won a freestyle contest that was judged by eminem apparently) who is totally using the Meek Mill flow on this song, and I think it shows how meek's flow functions (by being a bit more baldly obvious in its message) for listeners & how influential meek could end up being / already is

i wouldn't say it's unique, he just brings this very urgent energy to his rapping and is convincing about it

exactly. he def has a peedi influence but i think that's more of a general philly sound than it is about him biting peedi

i was listening to the 'new music' show on the baltimore rap station and they played like half of the gucci/v-nasty single and then were like "ok that's enough" and faded it out

there are some serious rhythmic issues & they had to slow gucci down to the point where he sounds heavily sedated

is "good fucking night" blowing the fuck up over there? it seriously sounds like it should be as big an anthem as "black & yellow"

it's been very slowly climbing up the r&b chart here for the last 3 months (and dropped a few spots from its peak this week) but yeah it definitely does feel potentially huge. it's weird to think roscoe's had hooks & verses on two of the biggest rap songs of the last year or two but i still kinda waiting for a solo track to pop off like that.

roscoe dash is probably my favorite hook singer in the game right now
