I first noticed Ruffalo in In the Cut, and I was bowled over. It was a good starting point - him as a cop.

I would definitely not call him "schlubby" (to me that means not just unkempt, but sloppy and defeated-looking - wearing sweatpants, unshaven, but with lint in your stubble) but maybe gritty.

I'd post who I realized fairly recently I think is really hot but you'd all make fun of me because he's sorta skeevy.
