Oh man, Giants-Cowboys next week! Normally NFC East primetime games are kinda bleh but I think the Cowboys' ultimate Derping today and the Giants looking as though they might be playing like the interesting-to-watch Giants again, I am kinda stoked.

I am kinda OK with the Raiderization of the Detroit Lions.

yes, the cowboys always have tremendous derp potential, so it's cool for them to be around

were you guys aware that tomorrow night's game is the jags v the chargers? we've all made plans accordingly, correct?

I like NYG when they are playing well (but they are agonizing when they are beating themselves), enjoy a handful of Cowboy schadenfreudes every year (the game last year where the Packers got Wade Phillips fired was a TREAT), and find it best to avoid the Redskins (which is difficult in DC) and Eagles.

i was going to say, chucky will go batshit over being forced to watch jags/bolts boredom. might even be crazier than last week when he almost smacked jaws with a crutch

Yeah I really do like watching the MNF guys when the game sucks. Nobody else gets that angry at terrible football, it's hilarious.

i mean as mch of a nerd as u r i cant believe you like football so much

gotta feel good about the Packers, who had a ton of stuff go wrong for them (turnover deep in their own territory, gave up a ton of big plays, Woodson going out, missed FG, 6-7 dropped passes) but still managed to win. sucks that Woodson's gonna probably sit for a while but their schedule is pretty easy now. 3 of 4 games at home with the one road trip being to KC. Bears looking horrible, now completely depleted on offense - losing Forte makes Caleb even less likely to succeed. Once again the Lions embarrass themselves on national TV but every NFC wildcard contender lost today so they'll probably squeak in at 9-7 or something.

for some reason the flow of a basketball game just doesn't do it for me. I like playing tho. I was a pretty lame bloomer w/ my interest in sports, I pretty much was a regular nerd who didn't care before college. it helped that my college football team's qb at the time was aaron rodgers.
