pretty sure the one-man team thesis will be put to the test at some point this season, as if Theo's 134 assists and that one goal Gervinho scored haven't disproved it already

Julie Lagger, Monday, 5 December 2011 01:13 (twelve years ago) link

and Arshavin did that thing. It was a few years back, but...

one-man-team's second-best-player can't even do his nominated job any better than one-man

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:20 (twelve years ago) link

who nakh feo or rvp

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:21 (twelve years ago) link

weird absence of wolves players from both lists

Julie Lagger, Monday, 5 December 2011 01:21 (twelve years ago) link

rvp xp

kinda wonder why someone playing alongside lethal finishers like gervinho, walcott and the retired former russia #10 hasn't got even more assists tho

nakhchivan, Monday, 5 December 2011 01:22 (twelve years ago) link

because all of those natural replacements for rvp are being played on the wings ochone ochone the waste

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:23 (twelve years ago) link

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:24 (twelve years ago) link

that's actually not as bad as i thought tbh

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:24 (twelve years ago) link

Vermaelen the stand-out replacement for injury prone RVP there

Julie Lagger, Monday, 5 December 2011 01:25 (twelve years ago) link

spurs have five players more effective than theo, but nobody as good as one-man

spurs are a five-man team

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:26 (twelve years ago) link

as my brother pointed out we've now scored as many goals as RVP which makes us a 7 or 8 man team iirc

Julie Lagger, Monday, 5 December 2011 01:27 (twelve years ago) link

wolves are gonna struggle, looking at the stats

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:27 (twelve years ago) link

it really means you're an eight-man-not-as-good-as-one-good-man team

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:28 (twelve years ago) link

i'm well aware of that thank u very much

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:30 (twelve years ago) link

Julie Lagger, Monday, 5 December 2011 01:30 (twelve years ago) link

Sad Banter (p much resigned to deems), Monday, 5 December 2011 01:32 (twelve years ago) link
