Haha we had open classrooms with sliding walls and the slid all the walls closed because they figured out that open classrooms didn't work. Result: we could hear about three other classes going on from the class we were in. Also, our library was open and basically just in the middle of the school--you would pass through it to walk to classes.

i saw my guidance counselor about twice in my high school career? there was only one for the biggest public school in minneapolis... so she didn't give me much guidance. i only ended up applying to two colleges and just relied on good SATs to make up for totally mediocre grades and laughable attendance.

my high school had lots of windows.. it's a fairly old building. i definitely had to work pretty hard at basic social skills after 4 years there though, nearly all my friends were crazy

i applied to a couple of decent liberal arts colleges & a couple of ivies because i had a chip on my shoulder & figured i belonged there.. got into one of them but thank god i couldn't afford it & therefore didn't go!
