c/d: your friend fucking freaking out and sorta friend-breaking up with you because you mostly jokingly said you liked the creation (band) better than creation records? by fucking freaking out i mean she actually got up and said "i'm leaving now" and angrily stormed out and followed it up this morning with an email that reads in part "if you're standing by that statement i can only assume that you currently do and always have thought my taste is total crap, in which case i have no idea why you are friends with me, because (unlike many worthwhile people who have other traits to compensate for awful taste) that's pretty much all i've got going for me."

i mean fine i know you hate yourself ok? so do i but at least i try to take it out in a respectable fashion, ON MYSELF. jesus fucking christ. i suck with girls this week.

i mean i wrote her back and told her that a) i was kidding (which is mostly true, although at the moment i would TOTALLY rather listen to "how does it feel to feel" than anything ever put out on c. records), b) just because i disagreed with her didn't mean that i thought her taste was crap and that c) if i didn't like her as a person she could have the coolest record collection in the world and listen to flipper 24/7 and i still wouldn't wanna hang, but i did, so that should tell her something. i also called her a dumbass.

big hunt is on Connecticut south of P. If you get off the Dupont Circle metro on the south side, you should be able to see it. It is across the street on Connecticut from the Metro exit (the side of the street with the bank on the corner, NOT the Krispy Kreme)

Yeah it's early, sorry about the misspelling but I'm frazzled. On my way out the door this morning I asked houseguests if they needed anything thinking along the lines of washcloths, extra pillows, etc. They're thinking about moving to the area and they were looking at a map and I had my coat and bag on all set to walk out the door and they answered my question with another question: "So where would be a good place to live in the DC area?" and I did not laugh at them but I did very patiently explain to them about housing and stuff and they seem to think they can get a house just outside the Beltway for 250,000, with a pool, and stuff.

Then I stopped at Whole Foods for coffee, because we are almost out, and they are dicking around with the layout of it and when I asked someone where the coffee was he said: "We don't have coffee."

So yeah.
