I'm not gonna pretend to be a srs hiphop person and maybe that's part of the reason I (/the rest of the tumblr whites community) approach this differently from the goon community, but pretty much my argument begins and ends w/ "imo...some of these lines are clever"

but they're not clever, they're really basic

and like actual rappers come up with funnier lines all day

Like if you want comedy rap, this is at least a step above like MC LARS HORRISHIT or whatever, but there's a whole school of MCs--Copywrite, High & Mighty, Apathy, Bumpy Knuckles, J-Zone, Celph Titled, Chino XL, even Joe Buddden--that do the constant hammering-away-at-punchlines thing. Sorry they're not ADORABLE and on NBC's Pomplamoose-comedy half-hour sitcom, Tumblr whites.
