The iTunes store sucks ass. You pay CD or near-CD price for over-DRMed mp3s that you can only use on five machines ever, and even that is dodgy. I only ever use it when I need a quick fix of a certain single song, and iTunes is starting to cockblock that by making more songs "album only"

iTunes's "gift music" function appears to be partly responsible for the increasing usage of "gift" as a verb.

ITunes seems to have a lot of Popol Vuh albums that are always way more expensive in record stores and never turn up used.

I usually look at Christgau's "choice cuts" (single songs that are worth hearing off of otherwise lackluster albums) and download them...
