my problem w/ the paul epworth thing is that clearly they're trying to go the nicki minaj route in terms of turning her into a pop star who transcends rap, but nicki was able to do that partly because she had built a fanbase up over a year plus, she had already dropped multiple classic verses and introduced her personality and shit like that. if she went from "itty bitty piggy" to "right thru me" there's nooo way she'd have the career she has now.

the whole azealia thing seems really hasty to me, they shoulda let her breathe a bit. i know she's been in with labels for a bit now but idk.

i liked your yelawolf review jordan, but i think "made in the usa" and "animal" are two of the best tracks. it falls down when yela tries to do the soft stuff himself, like on "the hardest love song..." and "radio" - and actually "the last song", sadly, the verses are amazing but the chorus is so unnecessary

ha, i think the album picks up a bit when he starts singing himself -- "everything i love the most" is one of my favorite songs on it. that stretch sorta reminds me of the end of the second petey pablo album, tho not as good.
