this weekend, I tried to convince some people in my department that we should go to a nearby "pub" at lunch and actually drink beer. None of them were as adventrous as me. pussies.

My last place was like that, we'd all go to lunch and maybe 1 other person would have a pint. Maybe.

Here there's at least one extended pub lunch a week! There's a whole gang of pissheads, I'm not even close to being the worst. Last week the girl I sit next to got totally shitfaced, which was actually a bit of a nightmare as I had to try and pester her to drink coffee all afternoon.

I'm not very good with lunchtime boozing, it just makes nme want to snooze all afternoon. Plus I have to drive home so I can't drink unless I've pre-arranged for someone else to collect me.

this is a holiday weekend coming up here, my boss will be gone tomorrow and I commute by bus. I *must* find someone to lunch-booze with me tomorrow!

This one girl at this one bank I talk to often totally called me out the other day. I slipped and called her "dude", she was like "how many beers did you have with lunch?". Also she has one of those phone-cute voices and I really want to meet her.
