The guy broke into the house, and he only took a couple of CDs. I think it's cool, cos it shows me that broken lock that I KNEW WAS BROKEN and had the LOCKSMITH BOOKED TO COME FIX was broken. He didn't steal the TV, after all.

Hey Lex, isn't it funny how you only got the job of reviewing pop albums for the Guardian after I stopped doing it because it was too much hassle for too little money. I mean, you gotta think that with all your connects up at there they'd gotta have been aware of you when they came to me, your click are pretty tight, someone must have been putting a word in for you. And yet, after I gassed all the pop reviews because I could make more from the equivalent time period spent reviewing an album playing online poker, you got the position instead. How weird. How utterly weird and confusing. It's almost as if... well, it's almost as if you're my fucking replacement. Or, to use a My Super Sweet 16 term that will perhaps resonate deep within your princess-fantasy arrested development soul, you're the Guardian's back -up date.

Anything else I cast off in my life you're welcome to have. Old trainers, girlfriends, etc. Always the bridesmaid...

I mean, you do realise that even ILX posters like me, Marcello, JW, and Dan Perry, who basically dedicate roughly 80% of our time on this board to purposefully annoying people, don't attract as much vitriol or vilification as you do, mainly because we're not embarassingly flouncy prima donnas who so desperately want to sit at the adult table of music criticism but don't actually have a cultural opinion on anything other than "Look at me look at me LOOK AT ME PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I'M SAYING SOMETHING CONTROVERSIAL".
