here is one of me being outdoorsy too. okay, beachy, in 0reg0n. it was a good summer and i am tanned and wearing a hippie necklace and have a boyfriend (who taught me how to ride a motorcycle - check giant gash on leg below knee where kickstarter got me.) seems long ago, but vivid. i am 19.

apron says "i dont eat my freinds" like the shirt morrisey wears in some video....that was our fake "hardline" band called vegan justice leage...songs include a fast terrible cover of "were not gonna take it" with words changed to "were not gonna eat meat" other "hits" included "our freind the cow" and some song about the butcher...we played once for like 25 minutes and cause some huge issue cause people thought we were serious and or making fun of vegans...(though i dont think any of us ate meat then...)

that said, i worked at a freindly's once...and no, i will never do that again.

I was perving on gramps a little bit, too, but in a friendly, appreciative way that takes in how fresh they both look, and wonders who they are at that point -- these two sunny, handsome young people who aren't history yet.

Andrew, they're peaky in the middles, that nice arch in the outer corners. It makes you look like yr up to something.

grampa and gramma lived in the Valley in LA in the 50s. gramps was at one point in a gang called the Lizards. he sang me the song. it was pretty epic. everything was a thinly veiled sexual metaphor. one of the other gangs in the area was called the Vardons. he corrected my use of shank as a verb. it should be shiv, like duh.

i've posted this elsewhere, but here's my dad's dad from somewhere in the mid 20s. he was like 15. pro piano player. had like 3 gigs a night. my nana was a professional dancer and they met performing.
