i am sad because i took bf to the airport this morning at 7 and he had put his suitcase in my back seat on top of my scarf, hat, and mittens (which i had left in the car because it was so warm the past few days and i didn't want to carry them in and out of work) and when he got out of the car at the departure terminal i think he dragged the scarf and mittens out and they fell on the ground and i didn't notice until a few hours later, and now i think they are gone forever. i am mad at him but i guess it's not his fault.

lol i thought that was gonna be a post about how you were sad that... your bf was leaving!

no only for a couple days, i just keep thinking if i had made him take the light rail to the airport this wouldn't have happened

he doesn't even seem to think it's a big deal but i still feel bad about this

harbl, this makes me sad because I am imagining you knitted these things and that makes it super sad because people will say oh you can just make some more then. BUT that isn't how it works (at least not for me).

a girlfriend once knitted me a scarf then we broke up and i gave the scarf away, i can't remember to who

i lost my gloves in korea. if i had knitted them it would be better because then they would have been no loss at all.

lol estela! i did knit the scarf but not the mittens. but good mittens are hard to come by and i liked those. he is taking it more seriously now. he texted me at 2 am yesterday (probably drunk) that he felt bad. i feel bad for being mad at him. they are just objects. that scarf had mistakes in it.

i lost my favorite scarf in a cab (or somewhere else?) on new year's eve/bday one year and i was so sad about it for months, but then i found another one very similar and now that it's been a few years i can't even tell the difference between the one i have now and the original. things will get better, harbl. keep the faith.

omg ruby, i discovered last night that the jaffas in my fridge were MOLDY. tbf they were there for many moons and i have a habit of not eating candy so i forgot about them. still, sad.

i had a bag of jaffas for ages and ages, but i kept it in my dresser drawer, and they did not mold. << pro tip

ok so i've hidden two boxes of jaffas from jordan, before he can eat them all. but i'm terribly lazy about visiting the post office. so expect them sometime in the next... 18 months

yesterday i was eating a popular confectionary item i'd somehow never eaten before thinking, yum these things are so ruby, i will get her some for that phantom parcel.

you can eat the buzz bars - i was never a huge fan of them, i don't like marshmallow all that much (unless it is in MALLOWPUFFS).

all the jaffas are gone now, except the two i have hidden! 23 boxes eaten in 12 days. i think we made them last a long time, considering!!

i'm ashamed to report there was also a (replaceable) surprise for lxy that is also rip, but this time f. is equally to blame. we were just really hungry.

i found a stash at a nearby store, i nearly fainted with joy.

they also had raro! i'd clean forgotten about raro.

!! also they had toffee milk bars, which my younger sister and i were completely obsessed with when we were little, we spent every cent we had on them. our mother didn't like us eating sugar because her family has a lot of diabetes but our aunt in london sent us these embroidered cheesecloth tops with puffed sleeves so we'd wear them down to the shop and buy toffee milk bars and smuggle them into the house in our sleeves and then we'd eat them in bed later that night. we had an obsession with midnight feasts that we got from reading books about girls at english boarding schools, in the books someone would always get sick from overeating but we had cast iron stomachs.
