when i close my eyes i like to look at queen anne and the bay and the olympics and the trees and the hill. sigh.

the other day i went running in the woods but all i could htink about was how much better it was to run in seattle woods!

i heard an npr story that the lusty lady is closing down.

i though of lxy's UMbrellas posts this morning when i was walking home from the farmer's market in the pouring rain and i saw a chubby talking-to-himself man approaching and when i got to him he said cheerfully, with a concerned look on his face, "where's your um-ber-ella?"
