hey guys. back in DC. hooray.

I don't know what to do for NYE.. don't want to go to baltimore.. got an invite to some international thing @ swedish embassy but it's $175, wtf. one year I was at some african cafe in adams morgan with a reggae band and it was really cool, nice crowd, only $10 cover, I just can't remember the name.

Yeah driving back will be no fun at all, which is why I'm certain if we went there we'd have to crash someone's joint because NONE of those people are going to want to brave 95 and get us back to a metro.

Oh god I just had the most stressful trip to G'town but at least I finally got to try Ching ching cha or whatever. We had to pay $5 for not being able to find parking under the G'town mall.

Charlton Lido, The Lex, Matt DC and I were refused entrance to a club last night for being too old. We were told to try the 'more adult club' next door. (We got in fine in the end by talking to a human being instead of 300 lbs of muscle)

Oi restaurant week is upcoming again. Taberna Pantalones is all sold out but I was going to go to Perry's again on 1/8 @ 7pm so if anyone wants to join holla at me and I can add you to reservation. It is prix fixe $30 (ish--certain items add a little to bill from last time I went there on RW) + alcohol, to remind everyone of what the words "RESTAURANT WEEK" mean.

xpost Either the point at which snow is always on mountains, or Minnesota basically. Logic would dictate that zombies might be cold-blooded and might actually freeze FAST if placed there. Firearms and BIG ROCKS actually equally useful.

Helps also to know your neighbours, I suspect to discern signs of incipient zombie weirdness.

Haven't actually given this loads of thought, just working it out on the hoof BTW. Am about to have zombie encounter eg. lunch with my dad. We'll see what weapons I need.
