k my girlfriend just ridiculed my pensive "post-LOST thinking expression" after i spent a couple of minutes rubbing my temples. i feel she is somewhat underestimating my obsession.

I say "Brotha" all the time. But only when impersonating Desmond. Which is all the time. Conversations in our house = "do you want to watch L O S T now, brotha" "yes, brotha", etc.

Has the Desmond Hume - John Locke -philosopher point been made? Not that it means anything.To me.
I didn't love this episode - still like the thread(s) better!
I found it weird that Desmond wouldn't react more when red shoe guy got smushed RIGHT NEXT TO HIM!
That suspension of disbelief was too much for me.

so there are two kinds of lost fans then. stoners who talk philosophy when they are stoned and stoners who just stare blankly at the t.v. when they are stoned?

I didn't find this episode that great. Then again lately all the shows have kind of disppointed me :(. Anyway, did anyone notice the dharma logo on dead guy's red shoes? Or was I just hallucinating? I'm almost certain it was there, but what the fuck is it doing there?

I could put a screengrab up if I knew how. I've been looking at the guy's shoes for a minute or so and I still can't make up my mind as to whether there is a dharma logo or not :( Also, I'm quite sure that L O S T is the only tv show where I've rewinded and played the show in slow motion so to as to see a small detail and I feel like an idjut for doing so

classic cars parked on every street check
pub landlord in shirt and tie check
combo of distant london landmarks suddenly close together (houses of pariament and er, greenwich foot tunnel?) check
angry man with CRICKET bat check

and yeah buskers always attract a crowd of 20 people esp. when it's 'wonderwall'. and the instant rain thing was mega lame.

fuckng loved it tho (altho it really wasn't that revelatory)

Wow... this was teh shit! Desmond is a winner! Best episode since whatever episode from season 1, no doubt. Stepping off the linear timeline was the best thing they could do. Truly warped, truly wonderful.

I also thought it was a great episode. I really like Charlie and I totally expect that something's going to stand in the way of his death, leading to some sort of breakthrough for Desmond.
