Oh dear, so it is. I guess I forgot to convert the date to your own timezone. I should do that too.

I really should've made the default date not UK time on the computer and then I might notice these things!

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

Poor 1. It is the loneliest number.

lol @ 17 votes from like, 5 people.

te,he (tehresa), Monday, 13 July 2009 23:01 (fourteen years ago) link

most of those 3s are from me!

OK, I think it works now...

The multiple votes is because I keep stopping and starting.

Keith, Monday, 13 July 2009 23:07 (fourteen years ago) link

and we keep voting every time you do :)

lxy, Monday, 13 July 2009 23:09 (fourteen years ago) link

i think i contributed a lot of 2s but not all? who is my 2 friend?

te,he (tehresa), Monday, 13 July 2009 23:09 (fourteen years ago) link

keith, question about the main boards: when you reload the site does it reset the "you already suggest banned this person" like it resets the "you already voted in this poll"? cuz i'm pretty sure there are a couple of people i suggest banned twice.

i mean yeah, it's cool if i stuff the ballot box, but what if everyone stuffed the ballot box, then where would we be?

lxy, Monday, 13 July 2009 23:14 (fourteen years ago) link

Oh no, it doesn't do that. That's all recorded in the database, so you won't have SBd the same person twice unless they have been banned in the interim.

As far as polls are concerned, they're just a bit of fun, so I don't think it really matters (well not enough to store a large amount of data like what everyone has ever voted for).

Also, it's dead easy to spot sockpuppet voters on SBs. I just removed four of them from Lex's votes the other day.

no i don't think anyone would get butthurt over poll ballot box stuffing. sbs, on the other hand...
