mostly for the public market because the farmers' market here is frustrating

yeah that public market is still the best of all the markets.
sometimes i miss the park and the cemetery but there are some great parks here so :)

i like best the grand army cemetery at the end of volunteer park. it's really old and teeny, and it's just right in a neighborhood. it's cool.

i also like calvary cemetery in bryant. i could see it from my dorm.

i have more to come i hope it is not overwhelming!

unfortunately the cancer thing is the same weekend as the bike thing in seattle, and even if it wasn't i can't afford to take too much time off work... pretty gutted, but we'll make it there sometime soon. i'm determined!

it's thundering

i can only hear cars :(

it was quiet and rumbly, far to the north so you might not have been able to hear it anyway

sometimes i think i am hearing thunder but it's really just a car going by (when the window's closed).

i heard thunder today :)

it's been loud! and a lot!

my dog hates thunder, it makes him cry. the rest of the time, apart from when there are fireworks which he also hates, he's brave and cheerful.

i would like to call bullshit on a dance company that thinks they can hire a devo director for $13/hour!

i can't watch your youtube t. si, my internet is slow

estela it is two days. the first day is state-specific essays, 10 25-minute essay questions followed by one 90-minute "multistate performance test." the second day is 200 multistate multiple choice questions, which are difficult but i am confident i will do ok on that part (it only encompasses i think 6 subjects). unfortunately you get one score for all of it and if you fail you have to take it ALL again and it's only offered in february and july.

now i am just scared because i didn't want to pay to take the course (it's $3000) so i just bought the books on ebay and what if i didn't do a good enough job teaching myself? but i have done a lot of practice multiple choices, now i am doing essays until i die. the course might just be overkill too, to make sure all the slow people learn enough
