and your eye and your sensibility

estela, Monday, 6 July 2009 23:59 (fourteen years ago) link

i thought so but they look very good. i have digital point and shoot i just never use it :-/

spite n ease (harbl), Monday, 6 July 2009 23:59 (fourteen years ago) link

i need a new point and shoot, my battery died and it's $90 to replace it and the camera isn't good enough to warrant paying that, any recommendations?

estela, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:03 (fourteen years ago) link

i have canon SD600. it's 3 years old though, they probably have SD9000 by now.

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:04 (fourteen years ago) link

My kodak point and shoot is old and I think I am ready for something more advanced (maybe manual focus?) but this one just will not break so I can justify a new one :(

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:06 (fourteen years ago) link

xpost thanks. i am picking these out of about 350 pictures btw
this one makes me laugh. it looks like the poles are having a conversation

i had a nikon before this, don't get a nikon. the lens comes out when you turn it on (like any camera) but eventually it will not go back in, happens to everyone.

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:09 (fourteen years ago) link

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:09 (fourteen years ago) link

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:22 (fourteen years ago) link

tza do you remember the public market and the buildings behind it that were all old and empty (they have now been turned into "artist lofts" ugh)
i was in the basement of one and i was escaping through the window ^_^

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:24 (fourteen years ago) link

with the camera in my pocket

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:25 (fourteen years ago) link

those were the salad days

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:25 (fourteen years ago) link

oh yeah i saw wolf eyes there lol
sometimes i am really, really nostalgic for rochester but then i remember how miserable i was

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:29 (fourteen years ago) link

no not those, the ones on the other side. on railroad street. they were empty.

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:30 (fourteen years ago) link

i was feeling nostalgic about it this week!

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:30 (fourteen years ago) link

mostly for the public market because the farmers' market here is frustrating

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:31 (fourteen years ago) link

and for eastman house ;_;

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:31 (fourteen years ago) link

yeah that public market is still the best of all the markets.
sometimes i miss the park and the cemetery but there are some great parks here so :)

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:33 (fourteen years ago) link

there are some great cemeteries here, too

lxy, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 00:58 (fourteen years ago) link

here too!

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 01:05 (fourteen years ago) link

i really liked that one we visited!

lxy, what is your favorite seattle cemetery?

i meant to see the cemetery on the island yesterday but i forgot and passed it on my way down from mini-hike :(

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 01:15 (fourteen years ago) link

what are those squarish things?

spite n ease (harbl), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 01:25 (fourteen years ago) link

great great love the night pictures and the squares. are they farming something??

alex hart jr. (jergins), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 01:31 (fourteen years ago) link

it is salt flats

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 01:37 (fourteen years ago) link

really great work, everybody! i was gonna say salt farming but you beat me to it!

i like best the grand army cemetery at the end of volunteer park. it's really old and teeny, and it's just right in a neighborhood. it's cool.

i also like calvary cemetery in bryant. i could see it from my dorm.

lxy, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 01:50 (fourteen years ago) link

i have more to come i hope it is not overwhelming!

i will check out all this cemeteries.

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 01:53 (fourteen years ago) link

so it looks like we are not coming to seattle in september now ;_;

we're going to chicago instead for this walk-for-cancer type thing for our niece

smoove operator, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 03:04 (fourteen years ago) link

nahh cmon work that shit out

jergins, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 03:05 (fourteen years ago) link

nooooooooo

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 03:10 (fourteen years ago) link

unfortunately the cancer thing is the same weekend as the bike thing in seattle, and even if it wasn't i can't afford to take too much time off work... pretty gutted, but we'll make it there sometime soon. i'm determined!

smoove operator, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 03:37 (fourteen years ago) link

tehersa, your photos are also very great.

estela, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 03:38 (fourteen years ago) link

Thank you! Too many? There are still more!

tehersa (tehresa), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 06:28 (fourteen years ago) link

lxy, Sunday, 12 July 2009 03:41 (fourteen years ago) link

i can only hear cars :(

te,he (tehresa), Sunday, 12 July 2009 03:48 (fourteen years ago) link

it was quiet and rumbly, far to the north so you might not have been able to hear it anyway

lxy, Sunday, 12 July 2009 04:22 (fourteen years ago) link

sometimes i think i am hearing thunder but it's really just a car going by (when the window's closed).

te,he (tehresa), Sunday, 12 July 2009 08:25 (fourteen years ago) link

i heard thunder today :)

te,he (tehresa), Monday, 13 July 2009 02:46 (fourteen years ago) link
