it was at the dept. of ed. in dc. not likely to get an interview or anything but they hire pre-bar results.

thing that suxxx about the place i worked before is the attorney who is most likely to get me in there said she would "write" me a rec letter, which would be great, except i have to WRITE IT MYSELF and i still haven't done that. she told me to write that i am "the best law clerk i've ever had." ha.

oh i hate it when they tell you to do that!!!!!

my last boss tried to pull the same trick on me - EIGHT FUCKIN YEARS OF SERVICE, THE LEAST YOU CAN FUCKING DO IS TAKE 15MINS TO WRITE A FEW GODDAMN NICE THINGS ABOUT ME (did actually say this to him - he eventually emailed me a nice and quite long reference, but obv it wasn't signed AND i didn't get it till like 2 months after i arrived in the US)

i need a new point and shoot, my battery died and it's $90 to replace it and the camera isn't good enough to warrant paying that, any recommendations?

i have canon SD600. it's 3 years old though, they probably have SD9000 by now.

My kodak point and shoot is old and I think I am ready for something more advanced (maybe manual focus?) but this one just will not break so I can justify a new one :(

i had a nikon before this, don't get a nikon. the lens comes out when you turn it on (like any camera) but eventually it will not go back in, happens to everyone.

yeah that public market is still the best of all the markets.
sometimes i miss the park and the cemetery but there are some great parks here so :)
