i went through the same process of registering and re-registering. it just took a couple hours for the e-mail to show up.

I'm more worried by the fact that 'Haberdager' is already a taken username on this site. Is there a Louis Jagger troll out there just waiting to strike with some well-placed 'squees' or 'kill all Arabs' bullshit?

Somebody who's not the Dirty Vicar showed up yesterday with that login name. Is somebody doing the ILX equivalent of domain name squatting on this board, and can they be identified?

Sometimes they can -- if a comedy hstencil or Tombot turns up, it won't be hard to guess who registered them. Othertimes it's just people taking advantage of the fact that some login names aren't reserved yet, and putting them in the box.

i'm having this problem too, it's been about 4 hours now and no email with password. tried re-setting, same thing happened.
