Dude I kind of think it sucks too. I'm going to try to give it another chance this year, one last chance for the gipper but goddamnit I mean WHY would Donna Reed lose her eyesight? Also: the ENTIRE TOWN of Bedford Falls apparently entirely relies on a broke working dude? Get one infrastructure, people!

It's supposed to be heart warming, which it is at times. I totally agree that the majority of the premise is ridiculous, but the scene where he goes in the bar and everyone is mean is awesome.

It's not unwatchable as some have stated, but I've only seen it three times so I'm not that sick of it yet.

I did make KLG watch Elf, which sucked the bag.

Agree on the dumb name for the angel, and the brother fucking everyone in Europe.

YES the scene in the bar where drunks all gang up on Jimmy Stewart and then get all crazy is hilarious. I will say that.

But dude, the angel's name is CLARENCE. Jimmy Stewart's DAUGHTER is named Zoo Zoo!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!

Elf did not really suck the bag, it was pretty funny, especially when he leaps all over James Caan's desk and answers the phone, "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" And you just know Caan is like "Goddamnit I was in the Godfather."

The main problem with MSGTW is that I have no fucking idea what the hell Jimmy Stewart is trying to accomplish vis a vis his law. I'm glad he fights those awful people and is trying to do something but I have no idea what exactly he is trying to do.

Harvey rules everything, it is about Jimmy Stewart and basically everyone else in the world being constantly drunk, but most drunks are really mean whereas Jimmy Stewart is loveable and imaginative while drunk.
