Moving Day

I wish this traffic would move faster! Now I am nervous about missing my plane!

i didn't actually cry u_u

Now we are moving but I'm supposed to be at the airport in 10 min which is so not gonna happen.

Ok now I am like woah I am going to live someplace else tonight.

i am still drinking coffee, by the way, but now i'm sitting in a different place.

I am on an airplane.

omg.

Now I might cry.

when i was moving here, i was pretty calm about the whole thing, you know, i didn't cry once except when i said goodbye to my housemate's dog (lol), i was just so excited to finally be with jordan. and then i was on the plane. and the plane ride was really awful. andthen 11.5 hrs later the pilot says we're almost there, and that's when i started completely freaking out:

OMG WHAT AM I DOING
OMG I'M FLYING TO A COUNTRY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD THAT I'VE NEVER BEEN TO AND MY ENTIRE LIFE IS PACKED INTO TWO SUITCASES
OMG WHAT IF I HATE IT
OMG THIS IS SCAAAAARY
OMG THINK I'M GONNA THROW UP

the thing to keep in mind is that there's a time limit on how long this awful feeling will last. it's not forever! it might only be a few days, or a week! and then it'll be great.

and then we're coming to visit!

first night in a new place is always THE WORST for me

lots of people like it, though. my friend tammy rode in the naked bike thing a couple of years ago, and she's pretty hot so i guess it makes sense.

me, i don't want to see tammy naked. not my thing. plus she wears cute clothes so why would i want her to take them off fer christssake?

Lol I was talking about 'Fremont fair' of which the solstice parade is part. I figured it would be a good thing for exploring that neighborhood. Plus it'd be fun to walk over the bridge.

oh well, i guess i don't know what that is. i don't pay much attention to stuff like that. but yeah, walking over the bridge does sound fun.

i mean, i'm not gonna do that, but it sounds fun.

Sometimes I feel like I'm just staying in a hotel for a few days. A hotel with no furniture and an air mattress.

I just annoyed my first neighbor by using both washing machines so he has to wait 30 min. O_o

have u gone furniture shopping yet? would love to come do this with you! just found the perfect little desk for our paper cutter - $15!! thriftstores are my <3

I did some browsing @ ikea but also I need to check freecycle and craigslist. I'm sure I will not have a full apt of stuff by September though!

I think my boxes are coming tomorrow. Then I can make fake furniture and/or forts.

well ok, we're coming to seattle that partic weekend because ytth has a biking event on, so maybe if he lets me out of that u and i could go thriftstoring?

All my Brooklyn friends from different groups are running into each other today and texting me about it and it is making me a little sad.

Well, she went on vacation 2 days after I got here so.
