Moving day is so soon! I am really nervous!!!!!
I will arrive c. 3pm on wednesday. I will go to my very own, very empty apartment on queen anne first and then we can hang out? (that day or on subsequent days -- I have no plans other than job hunting and figuring out the city, etc.).
Sisterza says post cards take 7-10 days to arrive and I mailed them Monday so it is basically a race at this point!

i predict you and the postcards will arrive on the same day!

sorry to have missed you too! i thought about you while i was there yesterday. it was such a Palo Alto family clusterfuck though, and i knew it'd be that way, that i figured trying to get in touch would end up not working out.

it's okay, we had a busy weekend so it would have been tough for us too - at the aquarium down in monterey all day saturday (free fuckin passes! i sacrificed neko case so we could afford to go ($60) and then this old couple asked us if we'd like to get in free as their guests!), spent all night making books, sunday in SF meeting up with an older couple we know from the bukowski forum.

september is looking good, not sure if we're gonna fly or drive, and can't organise anything till i've received a date for my stupid green card interview (because it would be my luck that we'd book flights and then find out interview was on one of the planned days away), but i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to visit!

nooo i mean i can't book a trip out of town, because i might have to be in SF for the interview - i won't know the date till i get the letter, and i can't reschedule it if it clashes with other plans already made
