I am excited to hear about trivia. Please post details. Was Prof. Hummingbird there? Did Nora show her boobs? Did Sarah take a lot of flash photos?

Trivia was fun. We won one round ($20). Nick and Sarah had already left, so we rock-paper-scissored to see who won it. Dan's friend (what was her name dammit) won, but then gave it to Katie. Our team was named "Honey With Colts." The best team name was "What's That On Your Forehead?" They won the whole thing.

Everyone agreed that Jeff is essential to our future success since we SUCKED at sports trivia.

How did we win a round? I thought we established that other team in the same room as us beat us in every round? Was it that one round where they accidentally gave us two more points than we should have gotten?

Anyways, I had fun despite the somewhat stressful set-up. I don't feel like I did that well myself but Dan is a monster on the geography questions. I would have preferred more question variety, as opposed to 5 straight questions about volcanos or 4 straight questions about insects and how they smell.

Um, there was a baseball question in there, I'm pretty sure John knew it. There were two NASCAR questions back-to-back to start off the game, I knew the first (first race of the year, Daytona 500) but the second was a wash (who was last year's champ). There may have been one or two other sports questions but those stand out in my memory.

same, i'm covering for someone else today and with the exception of two phone calls and one issue brief i had to send to washington i haven't done shit. one task every half hour is a pace i can enjoy. and get used to for that matter.

I opened a can of Diet Coke and set it on my dresser, opened the top drawer and picked out socks, put them on and left the room. 30 seconds later I come back and Kenny is standing above the can which is now sitting inside the drawer upside-down. Fucking bird!

I'm in a weird netflix phase, I've seen most of the movies I've been looking forward to and now I have huge groups of music dvds and old Britishes spy stuff. Or I could watch the Wire for a couple months.

We watched "For Your Consideration" on Tuesday, it was lukewarm.

Ooh, I want to see that, didn't realize it was on DVD yet. I know it won't be that good, but after Guffman, I feel an obligation to see everything Guest & Co. does.

There were a few laughs in it but the whole thing just seemed off. The humor was forced and the pacing/structure was really bad. And it's really short, like right at 80 minutes.
